Low Alcoholic Beer is a reality

You hold in your hands a small miracle; a flavour bomb with all the power and glory of a full hop barrage, minus the prodigious amount of alcohol propping up most IPAs. It's full-bodied hazy satisfaction, but with a very sociable ABV, so you can always enjoy a little more.

Little Fake is our David to the Goliaths of the Beer World. Coming in at 2.5% ABV, it’s a great beer to enjoy whilst trying to avoid a foggy head. We’ve used all the tricks in the book to make sure this beer has enough body to carry the light and fruity hop character in lieu of the lacking alcohol sweetness. By adding flaked wheat and rolled oats to the mash, along with a high mashing temperature and some canny water chemistry, this beer presents as sweet and balanced with the high level of hops.

We don’t believe that alcohol-free has to mean flavour-free. Being hoptimists at heart, we wanted to set the record straight with this full-bodied hazy. Packed with Aotearoa and American hops, this sunny brew will leave any sceptic a glass half full.

Made for the heros of summer, the sober drivers we wanted to give these boys and girls the full flavour and full bodied ale experience they deserve, but with only a wee bit of alcohol. So this hop forward treat is for you guys. Cheers! 2.5 ABV

Our low alcohol Pale Ale is flavourful and refreshing, perfect for a light night out. Balanced with plenty of Flaked Barley for a strong mouthfeel and tropical Kohatu hops to give it an excellent finish and bitterness.

Tiny just got mightier! Say hi to Tiny XPA, our brand new non-alc beer specially fermented to give all the juicy hop character and tropical aromatics you've come to expect from your XPA, just without the booze. Brewed with pilsner malt, Simcoe, Strata and Citra hops, the result is a bright golden XPA with notes of zesty lemon sherbert, citrus, pineapple and a pine hop character. Clean, beautifully balanced and intensely refreshing.

This is (possibly) the greatest scientific breakthrough by a Kiwi since the guy on the hundred dollar bill split the atom. At 2.5%alcohol, this full-flavoured session India Pale Ale serves up massive hoppy notes and malty character at a lower octane - for a smooth rider with flavour cranked all the way up.

A good watchdog is the perfect companion, a relaxed and friendly presence but always alert and attentive. It's a rare mix of traits but our brewers have taught a similar trick to this Watchdog, a refreshingly non-alcoholic IPA, with a pale malt backbone and lively hop flavours of citrus and stonefruit, but no bite.

100% craft brewed fermented non-alcoholic beer (not alcohol removed). Stonefruit, mojito lime and tropical characters from the Nectaron, Motueka and El Dorado hops for an unmistakably beer finish. Brewed fermented with lager yeast. ALL DAY.

We believe taste comes first above all else. All our beer is naturally brewed without fancy alcohol extraction machines. For full flavour we balance NZ Hop bitterness with the backbone of Canterbury malt, and our special yeast produces only a tiny amount of alcohol (<0.5%) while locking in all the flavour. No funny business.

Nectaron is an amazing hop – and it is the star of this beer. It is like a fruit bowl explosion that lures you in with a heady aroma – then boom! Followed by a 40 EBU bitterness backbone that prepares you for the next sip. The beer is naturally brewed with a massive dry hop, and without fancy alcohol extraction machines that means all those delicate hop aromas and esters are still in the beer. The special yeast produces only a tiny amount of alcohol (0.3%) while locking in all the flavour. No funny business.
